Another wedding project done! I was cheap frugal, so I went out and bought all of our candy buffet items the day after Valentine’s Day. Our colors are red, black, and white – so it worked out perfectly! {Here’s what we’ll be using to help display the candy is a fun way at its own table!}
Side story — Do you have any idea how many weird looks you get walking through the store on February 15th with a cart FULL of candy? LOTS! But my favorite had to be the little girl who walked up to me and loudly whispered to her mother, “Mom, that girl is going to get fat!” I just laughed out loud and told her it was all for my wedding. Then she said, “Mom, we are SO going to that wedding!” Priceless!
Anyway, I wanted a display of some kind at the candy table, so I came up with this.
The paper was again a bunch of leftovers that I have around from previous projects. Thankfully my mom had a bunch of the stamps that I used to write out LOVE IS SWEET – many of which you can find here. And then the embellishments were also things I’ve got around from previous projects. I also used a bunch of punches from some of the other scrapbooking ladies that were at the retreat. ๐ Thanks girls!!
The black frame is something my mom actually sells through Close to My Heart. If you are interested, you can purchase it here.
I’m super excited about the way this turned out! We’ll probably hang it in our home after the wedding, or I might tear it apart and use it for pictures (like it was originally intended!).
