Some of you may have already figured out from my IG, Facebook, or blog posts that I’ll be staying home full-time to take care of little J. However, I also want to continue growing this blog and my teaching blog. How in the world do I do it? (Seriously?!? Sometimes I have no idea how the more successful bloggers juggle a full time job {for those still working 40+ hours}, a family, and still find time to blog and/or create products/ebooks. They amaze me!)
Well, I finally figured it out! At least for now… Here’s what works for me.
I created this super simple schedule to help keep myself on track. Little man isn’t crawling yet, so this will work. (I’m afraid once he starts moving I’m going to spend 4+ hours each day following him around to make sure he doesn’t get into anything. I guess time will tell…)
Anyway, here’s a copy of that schedule –
Each day of the week has a specific chore that I will do. If there’s something else specific going on each day I add them in, whether it’s Andrew umping a baseball game or a doctor’s appointment. The daily things are just so I don’t forget (like Instagram!), and because sometimes I like having something easy to check off the list! (Cuddles are normally done in the first two minutes of the little man waking up!) ๐
My weekly list is just so I can visually see what I still need to get done. Between running two of my own blogs, and being a virtual assistant for another four – I have to keep on top of everything. It’s not too hard, but I’m a list kinda gal.
If you’d like this to help you stay organized, you can download a copy via Google docs right here.
Do you work at home? How do you keep yourself organized? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!
